Groundbreaking set for Summer 2014 on Exclusive Luxury Real Estate Condominium Located on South Florida’s Last Private Island.

Privé Developers, LLC, led by co-developers BH3 and Gary Cohen as Principal, are pleased to announce that the City of Aventura has issued the permit required to install a second sidewalk on the South Island at Island Estates.

The decision marks the latest advancement in the development of Privé – the one-of-a-kind, luxury real estate project set on South Florida’s last buildable private island – slated to commence groundbreaking Summer 2014.

“While seemingly a minor issue, the residents of the South Island made grand efforts to seek to stall the Privé project as a result of this requirement. We are satisfied that the City of Aventura carefully vetted and approved our application, thus enabling us to fulfill our intent to comply with this requirement and provide us with the necessary approvals to proceed.”

Designed by renowned architects Sieger Suarez, Privé’s twin towers will rise 16-stories above the exclusive, eight-acre north island located between Williams Island and Sunny Isles Beach. A total of 160 ultra-luxury residences range in size from 2,585 square feet to more than 9,000 square feet in select penthouse units.

Each residence will include private elevator entry, flow-through floor plans with 10-foot glass on both eastern and western exposures, 10-foot deep balconies, expansive east/west water views throughout, European kitchens and bathrooms, as well as outdoor summer kitchens.

“Privé offers privacy born not of walls, but of open air, sea and sky,” said “Our residents will be able to enjoy safe and secure resort lifestyle-living – surrounded by water, plush landscaping, bountiful amenities, and inspiring view corridors – while remaining in the heart of Aventura.”

First-class, resort-style amenities and services include a 10,000 square-foot gym and spa in each tower, private dining and social rooms, pool-side café, wine and cigar rooms, kids rooms, tennis court, two pools, marina, private pier, nature trail, private beach, jogging path, full-time concierge, and 24-hour gated and roving security for the privately bridged island.

All public spaces will be designed by Interiors by Steven G.
