Daniel Lebensohn

Co-Founder, Co-CEO

As the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of BH3, Mr. Lebensohn oversees the Deal Sourcing, Legal and Structuring components of BH3’s acquisitions, with experience in complex distressed and workout scenarios. Prior to cofounding BH3, Mr. Lebensohn served as in-house counsel to a Manhattan owner, operator, and developer for several years and has more than 20 years of investment and operational experience, including acquisitions and management of multifamily and commercial projects in NYC through his first company Wilder Realty LLC. Mr. Lebensohn holds a J.D. from the New York Law School and practiced law in New York City for more than 12 years, during which he was actively acquiring and turning around assets in the Tri-State region.

Mr. Lebensohn also serves as Co-Portfolio Manager of BH3’s private investment products, where he is jointly responsible for all major decisions including investment decisions, legal strategy, and asset dispositions.

Gregory Freedman

Co-Founder, Co-CEO

As the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of BH3, Mr. Freedman oversees Investments, Financial Analysis and Capital Markets across all BH3 transactions, and has experience in financial analysis, credit, and underwriting. Prior to cofounding BH3, Mr. Freedman was a principal in a private lending company based in South Florida that financed bridge loans on commercial and residential real estate, and oversaw capital markets relationships, loan/special servicing, and workouts. Mr. Freedman holds a B.S. from Florida Atlantic University.

Mr. Freedman also serves as Co-Portfolio Manager of BH3's private investment products, where he is jointly responsible for all major decisions including investment decisions, investment sourcing/screening, analysis, and execution.

Eric Edidin

Executive Chairman

Eric Edidin is the Executive Chairman of BH3 Management, where he oversees the implementation and execution of the firm’s institutional investment platform. Eric brings decades of alternative investment experience and focuses on governance, strategy, and capital deployment across the firm’s products and initiatives.

Prior to joining BH3, Eric was a Co-Founder and, from 2006 to 2019, Co-Managing Partner of Archer Capital Management, an institutional investment partnership focused on credit and special situations investing, where he oversaw capital deployment across a platform exceeding $12 billion. During his tenure, Archer Capital invested across numerous strategies including commercial real estate, REITs, and public and private operating company capital structures. Eric was also involved in the formation of BH3’s predecessor firm and has been involved with numerous investment initiatives with BH3 and its predecessor for nearly two decades.

Earlier in his career, Eric served as Co-Head of York Capital Management’s credit businesses, which managed more than $6 billion in assets, and held investment roles at Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, as well as a restructuring advisory role at The Blackstone Group. Throughout his career, he has served as a board member and credit committee member for numerous public and private companies.

Eric is an active member of YPO and has also served as a trustee and investment committee member of the Jewish Communal Fund of New York and the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan, where he graduated with Highest Distinction, and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Amanda Scott

Analyst, Investor Relations

Amanda Scott is an Investor Relations Analyst at BH3, where she supports the firm’s investor relations and communications efforts. She plays a key role in managing investor communications, coordinating reporting, and supporting ongoing engagement across the firm’s investor base. Prior to joining BH3, Amanda worked at GMC Mortgage Capital, where she served as lead processor and mortgage underwriter. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stetson University, with a major in Business Management and a minor in Marketing.

Alexis Gordon

Counsel

Alexis Gordon serves as Counsel at BH3, where she assists the firm’s General Counsel in managing legal affairs across BH3 and its operating entities, with a focus on entity management and debt investments. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, along with a certificate in corporate and commercial law. Alexis earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Colorado State University, with minors in Business Administration and French.

Shahana Bhattacharya

Senior Accountant

Shahana Bhattacharya is a Senior Accountant at BH3, where she supports accounting and financial reporting for the firm’s development projects and corporate entities. Prior to joining BH3, Shahana worked in the audit practice of a multinational public accounting firm, conducting financial statement audits for clients across various sectors, including real estate development and private investment funds. She also brings more than six years of experience from a local Property Appraiser’s office, where she focused on real estate valuation and taxation. Shahana holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Florida State University’s College of Business and a Master of Accounting from Florida Atlantic University.

Dylan Bennett

Senior Associate, Acquisitions

Dylan Bennett is a Senior Associate on the investment team at BH3, where he supports the analysis and execution of the firm’s investment activities. Prior to joining BH3, Dylan was a Senior Associate at CIM Group, where he supported the acquisition and asset management of real estate investments across a range of risk profiles and property types. Earlier in his career, he worked at JBG SMITH (formerly The JBG Companies) as a Senior Development Analyst. Dylan holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Urban Studies from the University of Michigan’s Ford School of Public Policy.

Neil Ellner

Senior Vice President, Asset Management

Neil Ellner is the Senior Vice President of Asset Management at BH3 Management, where he oversees asset management activities across multifamily properties, including value-add and repositioned assets. Neil plays a key role in sales and leasing strategy, capital improvement planning, underwriting, financial reporting, and the execution of asset-level business plans. Prior to BH3, he managed a large multifamily portfolio at Windward Real Estate. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Penn State University.

Reed Blee

Property Manager

Reed Blee is a Property Manager at BH3, where he oversees the Abacus Portfolio and supports leasing and investment sales efforts. He brings a background in commercial real estate brokerage, having worked on shopping centers, development sites, mixed-use properties, and net lease assets across New York and New Jersey. Prior to joining BH3, Reed was with Marcus & Millichap before moving to Horvath & Tremblay with his team. Reed holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Binghamton University’s School of Management.

Tamim Daly, CPA

Senior Associate

Tamim Daly is a Senior Associate on BH3’s accounting team, where he supports accounting and financial reporting related to the firm’s investment activities. Prior to joining BH3, Tamim spent four years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) in the firm’s audit and financial due diligence practices, specializing in private company audits and buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory for private equity clients. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Central Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida.

Adam Falk

Principal & Co-Portfolio Manager, BH3 Fund Advisors

Adam Falk is a Principal and Co-Portfolio Manager at BH3, where he is responsible for developing and implementing investment strategies and overseeing the firm’s portfolio of credit investments, including deal sourcing, underwriting, portfolio construction, and ongoing portfolio management. He brings more than twenty years of experience in commercial real estate private equity across all property types and throughout the capital structure, including principal equity, structured credit, and high-yield debt. Prior to joining BH3, Adam served as Managing Director at Criterion Real Estate Capital, where he was responsible for sourcing, structuring, and asset managing portfolio investments.

Adam holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the Kellogg School of Management Real Estate Advisory Council.

Stephanie Segurado

Assistant Design Manager

As Assistant Design Manager at BH3 Management, Ms. Segurado supports the design and development processes for various commercial real estate projects within the firm’s portfolio. She has experience in architectural design, project management, and luxury developments. Prior to joining BH3 Management, she worked at Urvan Management where she played a key role in designing and managing large-scale mixed-use developments. Ms. Segurado holds a B.A. in Interior Design from Miami International University of Art and Design and an A.A in Architecture from Broward College.

Ernesto Cejas

Corporate Controller

Ernesto Cejas is the Corporate Controller at BH3, where he oversees accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls for the firm and its operating entities. Prior to joining BH3, Ernesto served as a Senior Manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Advisory practice, providing financial due diligence services on buy-side and sell-side engagements across multiple industries for private equity and corporate clients. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance, as well as a Master of Accounting, from the University of Florida.

Andrew Pouppirt

Assistant Corporate Controller

Andrew Pouppirt is an Assistant Corporate Controller at BH3, where he supports accounting and financial reporting for the firm’s development projects and corporate entities. Prior to joining BH3, Andrew worked as an accountant at Clemens Construction Co., where he oversaw project-level financials for mixed-use developments from preconstruction through closeout. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Kansas.

Bruno Vieira

Senior Manager, Development

Bruno Vieira is a Senior Development Manager at BH3, where he supports the execution of development projects from inception through closeout, including due diligence, pre-development, and construction management. He brings experience across engineering, construction, and real estate investment organizations and has worked on high-profile luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality projects throughout North America and the Caribbean. Bruno holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Florida State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York, as well as a Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida.

Bhavin Patel

Analyst, Growth Equity

Mr. Patel is an Analyst at BH3 where he assists in diligence and research for the SPAC and SPV investments. Prior to joining BH3, he was an analyst at Victory Partners, a middle market investment bank, where he worked on sell-side M&A advisory for clients across multiple industries. Mr. Patel holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Central Florida.

Vianny Sanguily

Design Director

Vianny Sanguily is the Design Director at BH3, where she oversees design across the firm’s development projects and existing portfolio assets. She is a degreed architect and began her design career at Sieger Suarez Architectural Partnership, working on high-end residential and mixed-use developments, and served as Project Architect for the Las Olas Beach Club and Icon South Beach high-rise projects, where she helped develop the overall architectural design. Vianny later expanded her experience on the construction and development side at The Related Group, serving as a Project Manager on projects including ICON Brickell. She went on to found Urvan Management in 2009 and later joined forces with UrvanX in 2013.

Nicholas Price

Project Manager, Development

As Project Manager, Mr. Price is responsible for reviewing drawings, construction schedules, job cost reports and other progress reports throughout the duration of the project. Mr. Price also assists in overseeing the construction site and field staff, monitoring contract administration and working with architects, engineers and other contractors on development construction documents. Prior to joining BH3, Mr. Price was an Assistant Project Manager at the Surf Club in Surfside, FL and Resort World Miami in Miami, FL. Mr. Price attended George Mason University.

MICHELLE GUBER

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Michelle Guber is the Chief Operating Officer at BH3, where she is responsible for driving strategic growth and overseeing the firm’s day-to-day operations. She is also responsible for the structuring and ongoing management of the firm’s investment vehicles, overseeing operational, compliance, and organizational aspects of the firm’s investment platform. Prior to joining BH3, Michelle was a member of the Capital Markets Group at Hines, a global real estate development firm, where she focused on developing capital partnerships with institutional investors across a range of investments and development projects. She also worked in the Client & Partner Group at KKR, supporting capital raising and investor relations efforts.

Michelle holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Claire Wolff

Marketing Manager

Claire Wolff is the Marketing Manager at BH3, where she oversees the firm’s marketing strategy and brand positioning across firmwide and portfolio-level efforts. She also manages content development initiatives in support of compliance, due diligence, capital markets, and investor-facing communications. Prior to joining BH3, Claire worked at a Denver-based public relations and marketing agency supporting clients in highly regulated industries. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with honors from the University of Colorado Boulder’s Leeds School of Business, along with a minor in sociology and a certificate in social responsibility.

Daniel Fiske

Associate, Asset Management

Daniel Fiske is an Associate at BH3 Management, where he supports the management and oversight of the firm’s South Florida assets. His responsibilities include day-to-day operational activities, financial analysis, and coordination with property-level teams and vendors across the portfolio. Daniel also assists with the implementation of strategic initiatives and capital improvement projects, playing a key role in investment-related analysis and coordination associated with asset-level initiatives. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Real Estate from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.

Brett Kraus

Associate, Acquisitions

Brett Kraus is an Associate on the investment team at BH3 Management, where he supports the analysis and execution of the firm’s investment activities. Prior to joining BH3, Brett worked at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), supporting debt and equity placement activities across a variety of commercial real estate asset types. He previously held roles as a Research Analyst at JLL and as a Geospatial Analyst within Morgan Stanley’s Energy Group. Brett holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Iowa.

Samuel Miller

Vice President, Acquisitions

Samuel Miller is a Vice President on the investment team at BH3 Management, where he supports the evaluation, execution, and management of the firm’s investment activities. Prior to joining BH3, Samuel worked as an analyst at Northwood Investors, gaining experience in financial modeling, valuation, and analysis across multifamily, office, retail, development, and mixed-use investments. Earlier in his career, he was a member of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ M&A Advisory group, where he worked on transactions across a variety of industries. Samuel holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Georgia.

Cameron Bean

Vice President, Growth Equity

Cameron Bean is Vice President of BH3 Growth Equity, where he supports the team across investment and portfolio-related initiatives. Prior to joining BH3, Cameron worked as an investment professional at Piney Lake Capital Management, a Connecticut-based hedge fund focused on providing debt and equity capital solutions to middle-market companies. Earlier in his career, he worked in the investment banking division at Robinson Humphrey (now Truist Securities), where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and advisory services for specialty finance and financial technology companies. Cameron holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from Amherst College, where he graduated cum laude.

MICHAEL NEUMANN

BH3 REALTY PRESIDENT

Michael Neumann is the President of BH3 Realty, where he oversees the firm’s residential sales and marketing initiatives. He brings more than three decades of experience leading the planning and execution of sales centers and overseeing residential programming, amenities, and design-related coordination across residential projects. Prior to joining BH3, Michael owned and operated a sales and marketing company providing similar services for a diverse portfolio of development clients. He has worked on residential projects throughout Florida—including South Florida, Naples, Tampa, and Panama City—as well as in markets such as New Orleans, Chicago, and Las Vegas, and internationally. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida.

RICHARD PITERA

Senior Director, Business Development

Richard Pitera is the Senior Director of Business Development at BH3, where he is responsible for sourcing new deal and product opportunities for the firm. Prior to joining BH3, Richard worked at Pincus Capital Management, a single-family office, where he supported portfolio management across a diversified multi-asset portfolio. He previously worked in the real estate division at Blackstone within the Investor Relations and Business Development group and in the Alternative Investment and Manager Selection Group at Goldman Sachs. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Central Florida and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.

ZACHARY BENNETT

MANAGING DIRECTOR, Acquisitions

As Managing Director, Mr. Bennett is responsible for originating, screening, and structuring perspective acquisitions as well as capital markets and asset management activities. While actively engaged with the firm’s debt platform, Mr. Bennett’s role includes sourcing non-performing loans (NPLs), negotiating programmatic bridge lending platforms as well as communicating with lenders and the brokerage community altogether.

Prior to joining BH3, Mr. Bennett was a Vice President with Amerant Bank (f/k/a Mercantil Bank) where he originated commercial real estate mini-perm and construction loans for all asset types both in the South Florida and New York submarkets. Mr. Bennett holds an M.S. in Real Estate with an emphasis in Finance and Investment from New York University and a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Brandeis University.

ROB SALES

SENIOR MANAGING DIRECTOR, GROWTH EQUITY

Rob Sales is the Senior Managing Director and Head of Growth Equity at BH3, where he leads the firm’s Growth Equity investment strategy. He initially joined BH3 as a Senior Advisor and Investment Committee member of Crixus BH3 Acquisition Company, where he led investment sourcing and research. Prior to BH3, Rob served as a Principal at Centerline Capital Management, an alternative asset management firm founded by Platinum Equity. Earlier in his career, he spent more than a decade at Archer Capital focused on private and public investments across the capital structure. He began his career at Houlihan Lokey, advising companies and creditors on restructurings, capital raising, valuations, and mergers and acquisitions. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Emory University’s Roberto C. Goizueta Business School.

CHARLIE CARREÑO

CHIEF DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Charlie Carreño is the Chief Development Officer at BH3, where he oversees the firm’s development activities in the Southeast and provides project oversight across design and construction, working closely with external design teams and construction management firms. Prior to joining BH3, Charlie served as Director of Development at Property Markets Group, a national real estate development firm executing large-scale projects across multiple asset types. He also held the role of Director for the City of Miami Beach’s Office of Capital Improvement Projects, where he oversaw dozens of public improvement projects through the design, permitting, and procurement phases. Earlier in his career, Charlie served as Project Director at The Related Group, where he managed the firm’s largest residential development project, Icon Brickell.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida and is a registered professional engineer in the State of Florida and New York (inactive).

JOSH BABBITT

GENERAL COUNSEL

Josh Babbitt is the General Counsel at BH3 Management, where he oversees the firm’s legal affairs and those of its operating entities. He advises the firm on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters, supporting its investment, operational, and corporate activities. Prior to joining BH3, Josh served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Sydell Group.

He holds a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University, with a concentration in Financial Engineering.

OMAR RAYES

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Omar Rayes is the Chief Financial Officer at BH3 Management, where he oversees all finance and accounting activities for the firm. Prior to joining BH3, Omar served as Senior Vice President of Accounting and Finance at Gencom, an investment firm that owns, operates, and develops real estate assets. In this role, he supported acquisitions and divestitures, financial reporting and due diligence, equity and debt offerings, investor and lender reporting, cash management, tax strategy, technical accounting, and treasury functions for the firm’s hotel investments. He previously spent five years at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as a manager in the firm’s transaction services group, specializing in capital markets transactions for private equity clients and publicly held companies.

Omar is a Certified Public Accountant in the states of Michigan and Florida and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Western Michigan University and a Master of Accounting from Oakland University.
